Circa 1875 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Plate/Charger measuring 10" in diameter. This form is actually a Cake Plate and not a plate or charger. They came in different sizes with 10" being the smallest and some were as wide as 20" and than were often termed to as a "CHARGER". Nice alternating panels of people and garden scenes with butterflies and birds.
