Circa 1880 German Fish Set comprising of a platter with a nice gilded edge that measures 14 1/4" X 9". Painted on the bottom of the platter is a Large Fish made to look like it is under water with several sea shells and a smaller fish. On the back of the platter is a Crown with the name Western Germany under the crown which is probably where the set was made. Inside the crest are the words FINE PORCELAIN. In the middle are the initials J K W which is probably the initials of the manufacturer of the porcelain or the artist that did the fine detail of the fish and all the other things going on under the water. Also included are four accompaning plates that measure 9 3/4" in diameter. They also have a nice gilded edge among with sea shells and other fish under the water. All the pieces are in Good Condition with only one of the plates having a nick on it's gilded edge.
