Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Dinner Plate measuring 9 3/4" in diameter. One of many rose medallion plates that we recently purchased out of a New York Estate filled with rose mandarin and rose medallion.This plate like all the rest are very good quality. Dating from the first period of the 19th century. No Damage and No Repairs. Excellent Quality. Lots of gold, especially in the quadrants in the hair on the ladies. Birds, butterflies and one of the quadrants has a beetle that is rarely seen.
