Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Dinner Plate measuring 9 3/4" in Diameter. Wonderful Quality and in Excellent Condition with No Restoration. Beautiful Alternating Melon Panels of birds, butterflies, and roses with alternating panels of Ladies in court scene. Gold in ladies hair and all throughout the decoration in this wonderful plate. Butterflies, birds, roses and the rarely seen beetle. Lots of gold and gilding throughout the bottom layer with butterflies. Central medallion nicely decorated with a bird and a rose.
