Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin luncheon/dessert plate measuring 7 3/4" in diameter. This is a typical rose mandarin good quality item. This plate is a central theme of five ladies in a court yard setting standing and sitting. Very good quality with very well painted vibrant colors of costumes with gold in hair and one lady carrying a gold plated teapot. This scene is very colorful in many colors of lavender,pink,green,rust and different shades of blue. The rim is nicely painted and decorated with a border of butterflies,roses,greenery,mums,and sprigs of greenery. I also have found two bees.
