Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rare Rose Mandarin Soup Plate measuring 9 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/2" in depth. Excellent Quality. Gold in the hair. Bright Colors. The central theme has eight (8) ladies in a court scene. The border is nicely decorated with butterflies, many variations of flowers in a array of beautiful colors. Also on each central position side left and right and up and down is a melon shaped decoration in different colors with a bird and flowers which is very unique.
