Circa 1770-1780 Chinese Export Famille Rose Teapot Stand. This is a very unusual form. This Rare Chinese Export Famille Rose teapot stand is of hexagonal form. Very finely painted with central floral motiffs and a complex border of puce cross hatching alternating with floral vignettes. Excellent Condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is a tiny glaze frit on the edge of the rim and of course the gilding is worn on the edges as expected, after 200 years. We originally had a pair of these but one has been sold.
