Circa 1760-1770 Chinese Export Armorial plate features a armorial coat of arms in the center of the plate. This center is surrounded with a black and gilt rope design along the cavetto. Measuring 9" in diameter, this important armorial plate is in Excellent Condition. We have not been able to find who's coat of arms it is. We have searched both volumes of David Howard's book on Chinese Export Porcelain and it is not in either one. We feel by the design that it probably was made for the dutch market.
