For sale we have a lovely flow blue platter in the Excelsior pattern. Fully stamped on the back, made by Thomas Fell Pottery Co., circa 1817-1890. Also impressed stamped Real Ironstone. The platter measures 12 1/2"x 9 3/4". A geometric border surrounds a Victorian era scene. There are 3 glaze pops on the front. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is crazing normal with age and surface scratches from use as well as minor discoloration. A fine example and wonderful display.
