Circa 1881-1891. Very unusual set of six Limoge decorative plates. All six ruffled plates features flowers and a scene. There are two of each scene. One is a church, one a covered bridge and one a broken fence. The back rounds are white, the flowers are done in vivid color and the edges of each plate are a fine brushed gold. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Fine original condition. Fully marked for The fine French firms of Bawo & Dotter mark #6 and Lanternier mark #3. 9 1/4" diameter. Price 550. for the set of six.
