Royal Doulton plate with crest to centre of Lion Rampant, with the words " Bread at Pleasure, Drink by Measure".
No series number on the rear. The border is the same stylised green acanthus leaves as the Market Day A series, and the Monks and Mottoes series. Could be from the Coat of Arms series or the Heraldic. Early 20th century. Excellent condition.
