Tiny little plate, early 19th century Georgian period. This is a salesman's sample, which would have been carried around to show customers what they could order, as carrying full size plates would be prohibitive. The pattern is a pale blue chinoiserie design, with pagoda and fir trees. It measures 90 mm diameter (just over 3.1/2 inches). Excellent condition.
