Found among the items of a collector and museum curator of English porcelain, this very rare set of 12 Pratt plates. These plates date from the late 1800's and are in overall very good to excellent condition. There are 2 with famous English architectural structures and environs; 1. Church of the Holy Trinity and 2. the seat of the Duke of Wellington. There are 4 with classical ruins and 6 with pastoral themes. Each is marked as shown in the first and last picture. I find no crazing, hazing, chips or flakes, chips, cracks. There is some minor loss to one small area of the rim of one plate (that is color loss). And several of the plates have some minor loss to the banded color areas of the plates. One of the plates has a significant loss; please see photo number 8.
Dimensions: the plates are 8 5/8" in diameter.
