Large Limoge hand-painted charger. This fine porcelain platter features a large bouquet of peonies rendered in red, pink, white and yellow. The leaves are soft greens and the back round color is shades of green, lavender and red. This is a very nice example of American amateur decoration by a skilled hand and signed by the artist on the back. The porcelain blank is fully marked J.P. L. France. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate, very good original condition. 13 1/2" diameter.
