Huge signed Great Cheng Hua (Chinese Ming Emperor) late Edo(1800-1888) IMARI DEEP PLATE OR CHARGER. Highly detailed cavettos and central medallion with polychrome hand painted florals, and heavy gilt tendrils throughout the plate in Kakiemon palette. Japanese Imari at its best, though signed on base with Cheng Hua mark as was often done in the period.
Excellent investment piece for the advanced collector. Dimensions: 16" Width

Condition: Excellent, no chips, frits or hairlines, appropriate wear for period.
