Signed by artist Vobornik, this large charger or serving dish is gaily decorated on white ground with deep pink blossoms, leafy fronds and buds. The border is heavily gilt and the gilding also applied to outline petals and leafs. Condition is very good to excellent. I have not polished the gold, so the are some small rub marks and a very tiny scratch or two. The plate has several marks; the Limoges mark for Charles Ahrenfeldt and the Picard mark. This one is stunning; perfect for display or careful use. Imagine serving a luscious dessert of home-made cookies or petite-fours on this charger!
