Antique : A scarce blue and white transferware pearlware Plate - Shipping Series - circa 1815 - 1820
A rare Staffordshire shipping series plate printed in medium blue. Frigate 1 (previously called the Shannon), with
a sailing ship in a square panel on a ground of fruiting branches and shells. A superb item in excellent condition
Finely potted and a rippled blue glaze. Unmarked as is usual for this highly sought after series.
Good Condition - a couple of pin head faults in centre of plate (mentioned for accuracy) probably from time of
manufacture
