6 handpainted enameled porcelain plates made 19th century England by Coalport for Tiffany New York.Each plate measures 8 3/4inches in diameter. The white bowls are richly handpainted with boquets of flowers - each plate is different and between them, we see the floral spectrum of a beautiful English garden. Coalport was considered to have the finest porcelain painters in the 19th century and this is a good example of their beautiful work.Sides of plates: Concentric enameled bands separated by gold borders. Red and cobalt patterning on the yellow central band. Green flowers with red centers alternating on the creamy ground with delicate gold patterns inbetween.The backs of each plate are marked with the Coalport Crown Coalport A.D 1750 and England in green and the purple Tiffany & Co. New York below that. Each plate also has a handpainted gold number 8867/A and impressed numbers. (see ''photos).Condition is MINT. We did not find a single fault on any of the plates.
