Victorian, circa 1880 Wedgwood Majolica jardiniere which features a realistic wicker basket form and a similarly modelled undertray. Brown ground version. The piece bears makers marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a date cipher for the year 1879. No book reference found. Jardiniere: Very good. No restoration. Some wear to interior. Stand: Generally good. No restoration. Crack to the rim. Under rim chip not visible when sat on a surface. Wear to interior and some lime scaling. 7.7ins high, 6.9ins wide, 6.9ins depth
