Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica planter modeled in the form of a horse and cart. Shaped base with mottled green, brown and cream glazes on top. The cart has flowers on either side and a pink interior. Pale ochre glazed underside with vent holes, stilt marks and a painted mark. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. Some flakes around the cart rim, wheel and harness at front of horse. Tiny bruise to wheel at reverse. Slight wear to saddle. Restoration of horse''s ears, end of cart handles and bell on top of harness. Retouched flakes to cart corners. 7.75ins high, 15ins wide
