This is a large three legged English majolica planter in the style of George Jones. The planter measures 11'' tall by 4 1/2'' in diameter. It features a cobalt blue background with a scenic on the body of deer in a wooded area surrounded by trees. The interior is pale pink and the base is that grungy green with a white rim. This is a wonderful and unusual display piece. It is in AS IS condition with many cracks and old repairs. I purchased it in the English countryside from a majolica dealer who specialized in old and repaired majolica in 1990. It has been in my garden since. Though it is not perfect, it is still perfect for display and plopping a pot of geraniums in it for a lovely centerpiece. P-6512. Please ask questions as I consider all sales as final.
