Early 20th Century Rose Medallion six-sided Jardineer and often referred to as a Cache Pot or planter. Very much in demand by decorators for clients to plant various flowers and especially orchids. This one comes with a underplate that is not the original. Finding these with the original underplate, which would have been six sided is rare. This underplate is a eight-sided Rose Medallion Plate Measuring 6 1'4" In Diameter and serves the purpose. The height of the jardineer is 5" and the opening for the plant is also 5". Each piece has the made in china mark which dates them after 1921.
