Circa 1890-1920 Chinese Export Blue and White 6-Sided Cache Pot. This cache pot is 6 1/2" in height and 9 1/4" in width at the top. The inside dimension at the top opening is 8 1/4" at the widest point. The only real reference book on "chinese export porcelain" was written by Herbert Schiffer a well known chinese exporet dealer from Pennsylvania who has since died. On pages 110 and 111 of his book Schiffer has examples of Cache Pots and #307 is the example that is the same as this piece.
