Lovely and unusual vintage pottery ewer, France 20th century. Marked on the bottom, ''Mayer Liquer St. Amande'' in ink stamp under glaze with the mark of a spade, also in blace ink under glaze. Impressed with ''484'' and ''1/3'' in body. double handled ewer for holding liquer, the stopper is missing. Graduated blue satin drip glaze on a glossy blue body. The gloss glaze is filled with micro-crystilline pailletes that flash green in the light as the ewer is moved or placed in light, giving an incredible effect.
