Victorian, circa 1880 Set of three Majolica gradated pitchers decorated with dragonflies and butterflies on a rippled cobalt ground. Pond vegetation rises up from the base and tendrils form the handles. Pink interiors. Ochre undersides with undecipherable raised pattern registration diamond and three stilt marks. Good. Slight wear to exteriors. Kiln effects: some cobalt glaze run. Small: Repaired hairline and a retouched flake to rim. Repair to either end of handle. Restored chip to one leaf. Medium: One tight hairline around bottom of handle. Restored chips to rim and another to base edge below handle. Large: Repaired hairline and restored chip to spout. Retouched flakes to rim. 7ins,8 ins,8.5 ins high
