Early to mid 20thC Pair Kent Staffordshire pitchers modeled as Punch and Judy. Both seated, Punch holds a scroll in one hand and Judy holds a stick. Center of Punch''s hat forms a cover. Bright gilt decoration. Decorated all round. Painted mark and impressed number to underside of Judy. Good. No restoration. Punch: Very small paint losses to cover. Kiln effect: small shrinkage crack with associated flake to cover. Judy: Very small paint losses to handle. Kiln effects: touch mark to right elbow; small, over glazed manufacture chip to nose. Punch: 11ins high, Judy: 9.75ins high
