Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica novelty pitcher modeled as a monkey sat on rocks. The monkey is pulling a face and has it''s tongue sticking out. The open mouth forms the spout. The monkey''s tail is curled up over his back and forms the handle. Cream interior. Olive green underside with three stilt marks and an inscribed maker''s signature. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No flakes. Slight wear to exterior and handle. Restored chip to tongue and upper lip. 8.5ins high
