Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica pitcher in the form of a begging spaniel. Tricorn hat. Model based on Staffordshire pottery original of circa 1860. Painted mark to base. Generally good. No restoration. No hairlines. No chips. Minor flaking and a bruise to the rim. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to bottom of handle. Firing hole to side. A few glaze misses to the handle and one to the side. Some glaze run to the exterior. 7ins high
