Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features wheat ears and stiff leaves around the sides. Pink ground version. Bears a pattern number, ''1806''. Similar piece illustrated in Schiffer''s, ''George Jones Ceramics 1861-1951'' by Robert Cluett, page 42, figure 45. Generally good. Wear to the leaves and around the rim and the base.
