Victorian, circa 1880 George Jones Majolica pitcher in the form of a barrel decorated with hops and foliage. Branch style handle. Pink interior. Pink base with three stilt marks, impressed mark ''x'' and painted mark ''1846''. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Wear to spout. Some wear to underside and raised points of exterior. Kiln effects: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to interior; thin glaze around the rim. 5.5ins high
