Victorian, circa 1875 George Jones Majolica pitcher molded in the form of a thick bamboo stem. Bamboo leaves sprout from the handle. Turquoise interior. Green and brown mottled underside with three stilt marks, raised pattern registration diamond for October 1872, and painted ''3256'' in reserve. Good. No restoration. No cracks. Hairline to base of pitcher on interior, just visible on underside. No chips. Abrasions to the spout. Some wear to exterior. Kiln effects: a few glaze pops to exterior; a piece of kiln detritus and some kiln dirt to interior; touch mark to interior. 6.75ins high
