French art pottery pitcher with roosters in relief. Denbac, circa 1935-1940''s. Beautiful micro-crystilline glaze, satin on the body with gloss deeper blue drip glaze. Metallic reflections in the body glaze, this allows the light to play on the surface and makes subtle changes in the aspect of the color as the pitcher is moved. Excellent condition, no damage. Tiny flake inclusions in the dark blue drip glaze. Four lovely stylized roosters are ''marching'' around the design band. Signed on the bottom.
