This pot has a great glaze. I love the way the bright red streaks down over the shoulders onto the darker base. It stands about 4 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. It is unmarked, but the dark bottom leads me to believe it was made at Smithfield Pottery. There is some roughness around the rim, which is common for these low-fired pieces, but the rest of this piece is in great shape. It''s a well fired example.
