Mid 20thC Carltonware Guinness advertising pitcher in the form of a toucan stood next to a pint of Guinness. ''My Goodness My GUINNESS'' is printed in red on one side of the pint glass. The toucan forms the handle and is stood on a rock, leaning backwards, with the end of its beak touching the rim of the glass. Cream interior. Cream underside with vent hole and maker''s mark ''PRODUCED IN GREAT BRITAIN FOR ARTHUR GUINNESS SON & Co. (PARK ROYAL) LTD. STOKE-ON-TRENT'' and ''GA/2316'' printed in black. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Very slight wear to exterior. Kiln effects: some crazing to the pint glass top, interior and the toucan''s head; some staining to rim and interior. Repair around the base of the pint glass, where it has been reattached. 7ins high
