Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Water Pitcher measuring 4 1/8" in height to the tip of the spout, From the middle high point of the handle it measures 5 1/4" to the spout. After scouring the Schiffer Book on Chinese Export Porcelain, I have decided this is a small water or cream pitcher. The top of the handle is lower than the spout and in every picture on water, milk pitcher and creamers the handle is higher. The quality is very good and the condition is Excellent. No chips, cracks or Restoration.
