Circa 1820-1840 Rare Chinese Export Rose Medallion Marmite in Perfect Condition with very good quality and No Restoration. This Marmite measures 2 3/4" in height to the rim and 4" to the top of the gilded finial. Very good quality with a lot of gilded painting in and around the cartouche of ladies in a court scene and another panel with a rose and green leaves with a bird. Nice gilding on the handle. This is one of two rose medallion marmites that we presently have in our inventory and both are on our web site. It has been several years since we have owned a marmite as ther are Rare.
