19th century jug or pitcher, white salt glaze with moulded decoration of putti with grapes. The handle is grape-vine stem, and a band of grape vines form the top border. Pinched spout pourer. Jug measures 13.5 cm high and 9.7 cm wide handle to spout. Body is 7.2 cm diameter. Excellent condition, no damage - a little dirt on the high points, this could be in the firing. Impressed number underneath "43". Very nice example.
