Antique Victorian Wedgwood jug - very large size at 23 cm high and approx. 19 cm diameter. Very heavy. Typical Wedgwood classical Roman scenes with a band of stylised floral and celtic pattern bands. Acanthus leaves to handle. All in excellent undamaged and unrestored condition. There is firing crack under the base - this is inthe foot only, and does not go through into the jug itself. Impressed marks for Wedgwood, England, and a few other scattered individual numbers. Beautiful item, presenting very well.
