An old syrup with pewter lid, circa 1890-1910, from Haynes & Sons Chesapeake Pottery. Fully marked on the bottom. Stands 6 1/4" to the top of the finial. There are no chips or cracks. There is appropriate surface wear from use. The lid still opens/closes well. A good useful piece of old pottery.
