For sale we have a 19th C. stoneware 2 gallon jug. The jug is marked Edward Stone Ware Co. Fort Edward, NY. The blue script reads G.V.S. Bleecker 139 South Pearl St. Albany NY. The script coloring remains strong and visible. The jug stands about 11 1/2" high. There is a sizable rim chip as shown, with that being the only damage. A good little piece of American history at this price.
