An Albany slip glazed stoneware batter pitcher (or moonshine jug if you want to go that way), circa early 1900's. Total height of 9 1/2". No maker marks. Brown glaze all over, but discoloration in one area as shown, possibly from sitting next to a fire or heat source. There are a couple of minor flakes on both the bottom and top rim, but overall good condition. Very nice pinched spout. Would make a nice addition to a country kitchen.
