An exquisite little Worcester sparrow beak jug being squat and quite bulbous in form. Richly decorated in the Imari palette with panels of deep cobalt blue and gilding interspersed with panels of flowers in iron red, blue and gold. In wonderful condition with only very minor wear, no chips, cracks or restoration. Provenance McShane Stephens collection. Measures 8.5cms high.
