A German stoneware pitcher, with the word Lebewohl in cobalt along with cobalt floral patterns. The word Lebewohl loosely translates to goodbye. The pitcher stands 8 1/4" high and is 8" spout to handle. Good condition, a minor rim chip as shown otherwise no chips or cracks. There is crazing normal with age. The body has deep incisions which give a lot of texture.
