Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire titled figure of Lady Macbeth standing on an oval base. Dressed in a blouse and floral skirt, with a shawl draped over one shoulder. Title ''LADY MACBETH'' to base front. One arm molded free. Dull gilt decoration. Decorated all round. Painted mark to underside. This figure is based on the play ''Macbeth'' by William Shakespeare. Similar Lady Macbeth piece illustrated figure 1050, page 288, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 1, by A.& N. Harding. Generally good. No hairlines. No chips.
