Wonderfully hand painted Limoge covered biscuit jar. This fine cream colored French porcelain jar is hand painted with large dramatic white flowers on a very thorny green branch. The flower petals are out lined in red and have yellow centers. Both the scalloped raised rim and small top handle are gilded. Marked for the fine Frech porcelain maker, Tressemann & Vogt (T & V) and initialed by the artist, CES on both the base and lid. Good original condition with wear to the gilding. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 7" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" deep.
