The colors in this lovely flower frog are certainly eye~catching! The body of this nude figure is done in a plain, white porcelain. She appears to be posing with a floral covered branch or garland rising from the center of a yellow and amethyst colored lotus~type flower. This lovely piece is approximately 7 1/2" in height, 4" in length and 3" at the widest point. She is incised on the bottom "Germany" and the number "3943". There is also a red stamp of the number 16. Overall, I would say she is in very good condition. There is an old repair on the base where at some point in time, it appears that the "lobe" had broken off. There is small chip of porcelain missing from the underside rim at the repair, which of course is unseen unless being viewed from the bottom of the piece. It also appears the the paint may have been touched up at this point as well, but looks good. With as hard as these lovely flower frogs are to find, even with its flaw, this lady is still very, very beautiful. If you would like more pictures, please feel free to ask. Always happy to oblige.
