Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire theatrical watch holder in the form of two young ladies, each with a scarf over one shoulder and holding a floral garland over the top of a watch holder. Gent kneeling before one of them. Leg of one lady molded free. Cross on top of the watch holder. Shredded clay decoration on the ground. Dull gilt decoration and base line. Vent hole to reverse. No book reference found. Generally good. No cracks. Tight hairline to left of watch holder. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: crazing throughout. Restored chip to base edge at reverse, and another to the gent''s nose. Restored flake to nose of both ladies. 11ins high
