Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire figure modeled as a russet and white spaniel with her pups. Molded on a plinth base with dull gilt scroll decoration to front. Similar figure illustrated on page 103, Schiffer''s ''Staffordshire Spaniels'' by Adele Kenny. Good. No hairlines. Tiny chip to underneath of sleeping pup''s front right paw. Small flake to top right corner of base and another to lower base edge. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: overall crazing, some areas with staining; stray speck of black enamel to front of base. Repaired crack to front of base. 3.25ins high, 4.75ins wide
