Victorian, circa 1860 Single Staffordshire seated spaniel holding a basket of flowers in its mouth. Decorated with feathered russet markings. Dull gilt chain. Vent hole to underside. Good. No restoration. No hairlines. No flakes. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: two shrinkage cracks to back of head; small firing pit to back of left ear; kiln grit caught in the glaze to the basket; piece of kiln detritus to reverse; over glazed manufacture chip to nose and another to tail. 7.25ins high
