Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire Porcellaneous pastille burner which features a lighthouse, stood on a circular base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated in the round with decoration to the front and the reverse. Book reference,''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 3, by A.& N. Harding, page 286, figure a3205. Good. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the side, overpainted during manufacture.
